In the style of a German Maibock, using our proprietary Pacman ale yeast. Deep honey in color with a malty aroma and a rich hearty flavor.

Heroine of the Homebrew
 
I thought I liked this beer until I tried it next to thoer Maibock/Helles Bock beers. The taste is too earthy and not well balanced.

Chief Bottle Washer
 
This beer has a medium malt flavor with a fairly nice hops taste. I think it matches up well with other Maibock/Helles Bock beers. On a second tasting, I pretty much still feel the same. A light amber color with a strong head, it has a moderate malt flavor with a moderate amount of hops bitterness. 10/28/11

A classic proven beer with just the right balance of hop and malt flavors. Also has just a hint of smokeyness.

Compared to other Maibock/Helles Bock beers, it doesn't really stand up.

A very drinkable ale. Nicely hopped tamed with malt. Very Nice. One of the best from Rogue. If your in Newport have a glass with the Kobe blue balls excellent. Tasted many times. Tasted 2/25/2011

One beer supplier told me "this is the beer that got me into beer". It's a nice approachable ale with enough personality to keep you interested through at least two rounds.
