We at DraughtClub.com are real beer lovers who have been enjoying beer for many (and for a few of us, many, many) years. When we started our club, the number of microbreweries and variety of beer were just beginning to take off. Now, the variety and number of beers is truly astounding. We decided to start this Web site because there are few places online where you can go to find out how real beer lovers rate beers. The beer ratings you will find on our site are arranged individually for each of the Draught Board members (real people drinking beer) as well as by all those visiting the site, becoming general members, and providing their ratings. The ratings you will find here come from everyday folks, just like you. None of us considers ourselves "expert" beer tasters (how do we get that job?)…just highly opinionated beer drinkers.

In addition to the overall rating for the many beers we've been tasting, DraughtClub.com has launched the hop smackin Happy Hour Taste Competition. Each week we will select 4 or 5 similar beers for a taste comparison thus giving our happy hour beer drinking an actual goal. The Happy Hour Taste Competition will run fro 5:00 p until 10:00 pm Eastern Time. Once the Taste Competition ends, the comparison rankings for each of the beers will be finalized. Once a beer has been included in a Happy Hour Taste Competition, the ranking will also appear on the individual beer pages.
